BSP supremo Mayawati shared her perspective on the recent security breach in Parliament and the suspension of opposition MPs, expressing concern over the incidents. Mayawati criticized the suspension of MPs, stating that it is not an appropriate measure, and emphasized the wrongfulness of insulting Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar.

She stressed the importance of upholding parliamentary traditions and condemned the making of viral videos mocking the Chairman. Additionally, Mayawati called for strict punishment for those responsible for the breach in Parliament's security, emphasizing the collective responsibility to protect parliamentary traditions.

Let us tell you that so far 143 MPs have been suspended from both the houses of Parliament. Of these, 97 MPs are from Lok Sabha while 46 MPs are from Rajya Sabha. On Wednesday, two MPs were suspended from the Lok Sabha. A day before this, on Tuesday, 49 MPs were suspended from the Lok Sabha. At the same time, 92 MPs were suspended from Parliament on Monday, of which 46 MPs were from Lok Sabha and 46 MPs were from Rajya Sabha.

On December 13, there was a breach in the security of Parliament. This incident rekindled 22 years old wounds. Actually, there was a terrorist attack on the Parliament House on 13 December 2001. At the same time, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee made fun of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar by imitating him. When Banerjee was making fun of Dhankhar, Rahul Gandhi was recording the video.
